United Civil, Inc. is a full service planning, engineering and surveying consulting firm specializing in utility engineering and land development engineering design including residential, commercial, municipal improvements and school development projects. UCI was founded in August 2014. United Civil, Inc. has retained majority of staff and key personnel from its previous company which a split was formed. UCI has offices in Agoura Hills and South El Monte to serve our client’s and cover projects throughout Southern California. UCI’s principals are committed to providing exceptional planning and engineering services and hands-on management for the benefit of our clients. UCI’s staff includes 5 registered civil engineers and 5 Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees.

UCI staff has worked on various market rate and affordable APARTMENT PROJECTS throughout Southern California; and successfully completed many challenging projects for our client’s by meeting the dateline and budget on more than 50 apartment projects in the past 10 years. Some of which include TriCal Construction (projects: Del Rey Apartments in Marina del Rey, La Tijera Apartments in Westchester, Idaho Street Apartments in Venice), AMCAL (projects: Long Beach, Pasadena, Woodland Hills), Legendary Partners (projects: Glendale, Century City, Pasadena), Grapevine Advisors (projects: El Monte Gateway Transit Oriented Development TOD), Jamboree Housing (projects: El Monte, Anaheim), Mercy Housing (projects: Los Angeles, El Monte) and A Community of Friends (project: La Verne).
Our experience of COMPLEX CONSTRUCTION consists of hillside grading design, podium construction with subterranean parking and soldier pile / caisson wall, Low Impact Development (LID) and environmental sensitive areas development.
